Camp Fire Toasties

Back when we were at school we used to bend a coat hanger in to the shape of a folk that could hold a piece of toast.

Then we would build our sandwich and put it in our coat hanger toaster and hold that over the fire to cook our toast.

The handle can heat up if you are there too long so consider a cooking mit to help ward off burn't fingers.

And this is probably something your kids would do under supervision.
