Clothing

by Chillypowder

I have three kids and live in Morzine in the French Alps so hopefully am an expert on kids and what they need to wear!!

My kids might not agree though!!

A Crash helmet is a must and thank goodness they are quite "cool" now!

Layers as they can always strip off and put something in a backpack.

Their address and contact details in a waterproof envelope in a pocket.

You would be amazed how many children have no idea which resort they are staying in.

Sunglasses and suncream.

Very good quality ski gloves.

Hand warmers that they can open if they really need them.

Advice on what to do if they lose their group or instructor.

A snack in a pocket - they get sugar lows with all the sweating.

And please teach them how to ask to go to the loo in the language of the country they are in as there is nothing worse than skiing in damp, smelly ski clothes!
