Connecting Flights with Kids

What to consider if you have connecting flights with kids - If you know you are going to be spending a few hours in a far flung airport waiting for a connecting flight, consider researching in advance the layout of the airport and what there is available.

If you are travelling with a baby or toddler, you will probably want to know the location of any baby change facilities. With older children, you might want to locate any shops of interest.

Or, if you are more adventurous, you may have time to take a shuttle train from one terminal to another. (However, keep an eye on the time!).

If you are stopping for a day or more en route, then obviously you will need to sort out, among other things, your accommodation and travel to and from the airport.
