The crocodile park know as Crocodylus Park is the best place to come if you’re looking for reptiles, reptiles, and more reptiles.

It’s located in Darwin, which is the perfect place for these reptiles, due to the tropical climate.

The park was opened in 1994 and has a unique crocodile museum, it truly is a one of a kind.

The park is Darwin’s largest tourist attraction, and whilst it’s a great place to visit it does offer an informative side too.

When you visit the park you can see the crocodiles close up and learn plenty about them.

The park has thousands of crocodiles, from the tiny, at approximately 30cm in length to the big, at approximately 4.7m long. They also breed crocodiles from the wild and have state of the art breeding facilities, which are also used for research too.

You can participate in a tour if you wish, for example going with the animal keepers to experience the feeding of the crocodiles. This is not for the faint hearted.

Crocodile Park

Crocodylus Park is owned by Wildlife Management International and they use the park to promote wildlife conservation. They have introduced a great education program for schools and regardless of whether you child visits within the school program or you go as a family, you are bound to learn a lot.

Whilst crocodiles are their specialty they also have turtles, birds and big cats in their collection of animals.

So whichever way you look at it, Crocodylus Park is the perfect day out for families of all ages.
