Swap Houses!

Hi

I have 3 children, now teenagers. We have had the best holidays (and most affordable ones) when we have swapped houses.

Children are often a handful in restaurants, so it is much easier and cheaper to cook in a home environment. We have gone on holidays for 2 months in the summer and swapped houses back to back.

We have swapped in Tuscany, Paris, Vancouver, Seattle and New York. This year we are going to Seville in Spain for 3 weeks in August. We swap cars as well as houses so it really keeps the expense down.

People are trusting you with their house and vice versa. Its also a great incentive to spring clean your house before you leave!
