Crayola have a great product called Color Wonder "Mess Free Creative Activities"

Essentially it is a colouring book, however it comes with it's own set of textas. These texta's don't mark anything else except the book.

Therefore if the run off the page or get a bit creative on things they shouldn't it won't mark.

Great for traveling, especially when you're not in your own accommodation or at a restaurant.

These coloring books are also very exciting for kids, they are no ordinary color books. They encourage kids to not only color in but also find magic images you cannot see on the page until you've colored in.

We purchased these for international travel. They are great value for money, whilst they initially might seem a little expensive for a coloring book, they have loads of pages so there is plenty to keep them occupied.

Our kids used them on the plane, in the motel room, out for dinner etc etc. Then when we got home, the kids were only half way through. So now we've packed them away and we still can use them when we go out for dinner locally.
