You can learn about Australia’s shearing and wool industry, in a really fun environment. You can check out the live shows that run daily, demonstrating shearing right through to sheepdogs in action, mustering the sheep. These shows run for 45 minutes are great entertainment.

Note: the live shows run at 11am each day except Fridays.

And one of the most popular attractions is getting the opportunity to bottle feed a baby lamb.

This is certainly one of those places where you can make a whole day of it. There are plenty of beautiful spots to lay out a rug and have a picinic for lunch before you head back to experience more wonderful activities this Shearing Shed has to offer.

At $8 for adults and $5 for kids, you don’t get better value than that. The price also includes the food for the sheep, so it’s great value for money.

Also located here is the largest wool boutique in Australia. Here you can buy loads of different wool products including ugg boots, jumpers, lanolin skincare products, toys and plenty more.

What makes the Yallilngup Shearing Shed such a great attraction? It is Australian and very authentic at that.
