Madam Tussauds Wax Museum

One of New Yorks Most Popular Museums

BOOK ACCOMMODATION

New York Accommodation

Located in the heart of time square, Madam Tussauds Wax Museum has become a popular tourist destination in New York.

Madam Tussauds is a Wax Museum, first and foremost, that is what it’s famous for, however now they offer more than just the wax creations in the museum.

Madam Tussauds now has it’s very own 4D theater, even better than 3D you really feel like you are in amongst all the action.

Plus they only screen short films (approx. 15-20 minutes long) so you’ve still got plenty of time to spend in the museum.

For those with a good sense of humor they have a great attraction called ‘SCREAM’ they use live actors in a bid to scare the wits out of you, bringing to life some of your favorite horrors. The museum do advise this is suitable for people over the age of 12 years.

Furthermore they have a ‘Sports Zone’ where you can participate in numerous activities including those that involve the Nintendo Wii.

However traditionally it is the wax creations of Madam Tussaud that attracts us in the first place.

There are over 200 life like wax creations. Some of the wax statues at Madam Tussauds are political figures such as Barack Obama and George Bush and music gurus such as Beyonce and Madonna.

Whether you’re into history and go to see Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe, or are a bit younger and prefer the ‘right now’ of Simon Cowell, there is a statue sure to be everyone’s favorite.

The great thing about this museum is you are free to get up amongst the statues.

“I personally had my photo taken with Brad Pitt, so many people thought I actually got to meet him he looked so real” - Mandy

Address: 234 West 42nd Street, Time Square New York NY 10036
