Omelets (using a clip lock bag)

by Natalie Jenson
(Mount Martha)

The best thing about this recipe is that you prepare all the omelets in advance and then cook them all at the same time, which means you can sit down as a family and have breakfast together.

Get a clip lock bag for each person, best you write their names on it so you can tell which belongs to who.

Then add two eggs to each bag.

Prepare any additional ingredients you want, we add onions, capsicum, mushrooms, ham or bacon, tomatoes, just to give you an idea.

Each person can pick and choose what they want in their omelet. Whilst you are doing all of this ensure there is a big pot of water on the boil on the campfire.

Then when everyone's omelet is prepared in the bag, give the water a stir and add the bags.

Cook for 10 - 15 minutes, depending on the number of bags in the water and how crowded it is.

Then dish up each omelet for your family to enjoy.

This is a fun one to do with the kids.
