Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire

(Waterville Valley, NH)
My niece, Mairead, has a blast at Waterville Valley Resort!
I have two kids (now 21 & 18) and we live 10 miles from Waterville Valley, so I know from first hand experience - babies to toddlers to teens - about traveling to Waterville Valley.
Spring skiing at Waterville Valley Resort is the best it's been in YEARS!
The ski resort is having Olympic Size $21 Learn to Ski & Snowboard Days at Waterville Valley on March 20 & 21.
In honor of the 21st Winter Olympic Games, both days will feature the resort's Olympic $21 Learn to Ski & Snowboard Special including a beginner lesson, skis or Burton snowboard rental equipment and a beginner area lift ticket for the day.
No reservations are needed. This is a great way to get your first-timers on skis or a snowboard. My kids enjoyed skiing best, but both learned to snowboard, too.
Easter
Waterville Valley has been hosting an Easter Sunrise Church Service near the top of the ski trails for years.
It's a beautiful service in a beautiful location, and for those that don't ski, it's an adventure going up and down on the chairlift!
This year Waterville Valley is hosting a weekend-long Easter Eggstravaganza on April 3 & 4, 2010.
There will be a multitude of on- and off-mountain activities including:
Easter Basket Decorating (my kids favorite activity when they were little)
Egg Coloring & Decorating
Egg Drop Challenge (so much fun!...you protect your egg in a container no bigger than a shoebox and drop it from the clock tower in Town Square...and hope it doesn't break!)
Eggstreme Pond Skimming at the Ski Area (you have to be mildly crazy to do it, but it's awfully fun to watch!)
Sunrise Church Services at the Ski Area
Brunch at the Coyote Grill Restaurant
Easter Egg Hunts at the Ski Area AND in the village
Guest appearances by the Easter Bunny!
